Jacqueline Wade is a civil litigator. Ms. Wade advises employers on a wide range of employment issues including wage and hour claims, wrongful termination and harassment, anti-bullying, age discrimination, family and medical leave, company policies and procedures and navigating the constantly changing coronavirus related laws. She has also handled cases with the California Labor Commissioner and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing. Ms. Wade also has experience in real estate matters including warranty of habitability issues, breach of contract and professional negligence.
Ms. Wade graduated law school with Pro Bono Honors for her commitment to her school’s immigration Clinic. She helped indigent immigration clients in both removal proceedings and in affirmative applications for immigrant relief in the North East Florida community. While in law school, Ms. Wade served as an Ambassador for her school and was appointed by the student body to represent her law school in honor court proceedings, which dealt with violations of the student honor code. In her last year of law school, Ms. Wade worked at the Staff Attorney’s Office for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she performed legal research and drafted written recommendations on motions for judges and attorneys. Ms. Wade was awarded the “Cali Award” in Pre-trial Litigation Drafting for earning the top grade in her class. She also earned an Advanced Research, Writing and Drafting Certificate for excellence in litigation and transactional drafting. Prior to law school, Ms. Wade attended California State University, Fullerton, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She was on the Dean’s List multiple semesters and was an active participant tin her school’s marketing network events for young entrepreneurs.
Aside from practicing law, Ms. Wade loves spending time with her family. She also enjoys watching all home remodel shows.
