Biography: Christopher Schwarz was admitted to the California Bar in 2016, after graduating from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. He was staff editor at The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law for the 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 academic years. He has written an article on educational privacy regulations and their effect on student athletes, published in The Ohio State University Journal of Criminal Law. While in law school, Christopher participated in the Justice for Children Legal Clinic, a practicum designed to help low-income children and their families. Christopher represented adolescent clients in Juvenile Court in abuse, neglect, dependency and immigration cases. He was rewarded for his efforts with a Legal Certificate in Children's Studies, the only member of his graduating class to receive such an honor.

While in law school, Christopher acted as research assistant to Dean and Professor Kathy Northern, working with the Dean to develop a new class emphasizing the importance of intellectual diversity in law school and practice.

Prior to attending law school, Christopher was a member of the honors program at the University of Washington in Seattle where received his B.A. in Political Science with Honors. He also received his B.A. in American Indian Studies, graduating first in his class. Christopher also earned a Master of Science in Sport Management at the The Ohio State University, where he worked closely with the Ohio State athletic department, graduating first in his class.
